The Temple grounds cover approximately 35 acres in ancient Jerusalem, making it difficult to explore everything in a single session. Here are several ways to begin your Temple experience:
- Watch a Preview: For a guided overview before entering the VR environment, view a portion of the YouTube video tour.
Search: "Explore Herod's Temple in Virtual Reality!"
- Explore Freely: Launch the VR experience and navigate the Temple at your own pace.
- Use the Map Feature: Instantly position yourself at specific locations within ancient Jerusalem.
- Press the recessed Menu button on the left controller to open the menu and select the Map icon.
- When the blue paper-man appears in the Model of Jerusalem, place either hand on it and press the trigger button to pick it up. While holding the trigger, move the marker to your desired location. Release the trigger to teleport there within the experience.
- Repeat this process as often as you'd like to explore new areas.
